User guide

A simple flow for reflective readings.

Use Omikuji as a short pause: choose a reading, ask one focused question when needed, read the result as symbolic language, and keep serious decisions outside the app.

  1. 1

    Start with a light intention

Begin with a calm purpose, such as noticing the tone of the day, framing a thought, or returning to a question with more distance.

  2. 2

    Choose daily or question reading

Use the daily flow for a brief general reading. Use the question flow when you have one specific reflective prompt.

  3. 3

    Ask a focused question

A useful question asks what to notice, what attitude to bring, or what tension may be present. Avoid prompts that ask the app to make urgent, medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.

  4. 4

    Read the result as reflection

Treat the result as symbolic language. It may help with journaling or perspective, but it is not an instruction or guarantee.

  5. 5

    Use AI as supporting text

AI may make a reading easier to read or connect ideas in a structured way. It can be incomplete or mistaken, so keep it in a supporting role.

  6. 6

Unlock or save only when useful

Some access options may be free, ad-supported, or paid. Saved cards are best used as a keepsake or journal companion, not as evidence of a future outcome.
